Founders Story

Hi, I’m Grace Germano, the founder and creator of Day in the Life Travel. Since graduating from San Francisco State University with a degree in International Relations, I’ve spent years traveling, volunteering, and collaborating within beautiful communities across East Africa, Latin America, and Europe. For me, travel is a vessel for good and a means of creating a better, more compassionate world— bridging people, cultures, and lasting connections to new places.

I first began working in luxury travel in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2014, helping clients create their perfect personalized itineraries in order to best explore all the flavors, histories, cultures, and creativity of a truly unforgettable city. Today, I’m charmed that New Orleans has now been my home for 10 years. It’s the most vibrant and soulful city in the world, it inspires me daily—  and may be the next best thing to living abroad full-time. 

I work with an extensive list of local musicians, chefs, artists, culture bearers and subject matter experts in each destination I plan and I believe these partnerships, paired with my commitment to truly get to know my clients, listen to their personal needs & discover their individual style allows me to offer an elevated and valued service.
